how small are we talking and how contemporary a service? i found my HR Deluxe to be way too loud for the more old-fashioned, but larger church i go to sunday mornings, but it's perfect for my smaller Saturday night church playing.

Fender Blues Junior, small, tube, clean, can be mic'd.

I lke that Traynor has a line out so I don't have to deal with a mic/stand.

Ill add peavey classic. I second the fender blues jr. Both amps I suggest a speaker change. If you go a little more, a used Hughes and kettner puretone. Its my main and amp and church amp. Buy it used, youll save a crap load. Igot get for about 700 bux. Which is unheard of if you check out the sale price. Anyways, if you can go super high end, a used Matchless 1x12. I would stay under 30 watts if you can. I never go pass10 o clock at church. The pureton though is heavy combo. is it going to be staying at the church? Also what sound do you want? u2 sound, jazzy sound, etc etc? Those would be my top choices for bang for buck.

I love the matchless idea, not familiar with the hughes but I will look into it, Im mainly playing casting crown, mercy me, third day, slight distortion, probably a TS9 tube screamer, vox, mxr compressor, some type of Delay(looking for suggestions) 90's jap 62 reissue tele relic. Looking for warm clean deep tone for fills and soft riffs. thanks Zach
